I was trying to touch up a couple of spots and the stuff I bought from one of the vendors isn't matching what already have. I suspected it to be close enough until I get my new panels this winter..Sooo my question is how dark is the saddle color interiors that you guys have seen? The paint was more of a dark tan than a light tan like I have in my 66... I know that this is a really subjective question but hey I've asked silly questions before... Hey Garner you can atest to that right??

Dave, I see saddle every time I get in my car, but all the tan colors are minutely different - seats, door panels, dash, halo trim. Mine is generally about the shade of khaki pants. That probably doesn't help since trying to define hue is all subjective. But at least I tried.

Tim, Yep that is what mine looks like however the dye/paint that I was trying to use is a darker tan... It says that it is for 66 saddle but I guess that it could be old stock or something.. I was just wanting to do some touch up.. Guess it looks like I will just wait until Knoxville to get everything from Knoch.... Dave..

Dave, Saddles and the blues vary so much from who you buy interior panels, seat covers, and carpets from. It's about impossible to touch up because it won't match. Just buy all new at one time from one vendor or dye the entire interior at once to ensure color match.....or to match your Khaki pants.
