Hauled out one of my plugs in my 1960's 327 and decided it needed replacing. Noted the plug number and put the plug back into the car. Go to the local Canadian Tire and find out this plug has been replaced by a R45TS, R45XS and a few more R45##. Damn should have taken the plug with me.... Well I guess I'll have wait to Monday as stores are closed on Sunday in Nova Scotia....
Just out of curiousity, anyone know what new model of the R45## would match up to the R45S ?

Cheers & happy Vetting...
Interesting, we can get the R45S all day long down here in the states, it's the R46S that has been relegated to history (but you CAN get an R46SX which is an extended tip version of the R46S)...
Just use the AC R45. It will work with all compression ratios. The "S" means extended tip that sometimes interfers and touchs the pistons with the 11-1 engines. No goes on anything else, {TS, SX, or whatever}

I believe the R45XS is the same plug as R45S. The only difference is the XS has a wider gap. Set the gap on them before you install them and you should be good to go.
