I was wondering if any of you use a Bra on your Vette? I dont like the way that they look, but my car is almost complete and the thought of a nic or chip on the front is killing me
I've been through this many, many times with freshly-painted Corvettes and other project cars, and once you get through the trauma of the first stone chip, you can deal with it; that's what they make touch-up paint for (you did have your painter save a pint or quart, right?).
I know several here use a bra for cross-country trips where there's higher exposure to chipping, but for typical around-town driving, I don't care for a bra; IMO, detracts from the car's appearance in a big way, and if moisture gets under it and the car sits in the sun, it can "fog" your paint.

Magic v8 has a slick looking one........I just decided not to have one.....I am more worried about the bra rubbing the paint the wrong way than a rock chip.
Do they have any you can remove one handed????...just kidding.
One of the all time great lines I heard was from a very attractive girl in distress at a gas station. Her car was overheating and as I pumped gas at the pump next to her. I noticed she was having difficulty opening the hood on her car, which had a bra on it.
I asked her, "Do you need any help?
This stunning looking woman looked me straight in the eye and reponded...
"Yes, can you help me get this bra off ??"...............
