Default FI spacer

Hey guys, the 2" side pipes that I had on the car did not need the spacer. However now with the Allen's 2 1/2" I was told I would need it. Okay I picked one up but I don't know if there should be a flat gasket between the spacer and the exhaust manifold. Need to get out there and put these on so I can enjoy this nice weather we're having.. Thanks guys.. Dave..

Probably won't matter either way but GM never used FI spacer gaskets, nor manifold-to-head gaskets.

tripp, mine were louder than stock before but that has a lot to due with my set up. I actually want them to be louder... I will report when I start her up. Another question for those running Ram horns on a 66 or 67 where did you get a bracket at to mount the alternator. I guess I can go to ACKK.. Auto Zone and pick up a chrome one and paint it black... Dave..

Assuming you have the correct ram's-horn manifold with the boss and hole in the front, Paragon and LICS have the lower mounting bracket and the upper adjusting brace.

John these are the ones with the mounting bracket that protrude forward and has the holes perpindicular to the manifold. So I've got to fab up something any suggestions are welcomed.. Dave...
