The following person sells the touch up paint in factory matched colors for Corvettes from 1956 to current. He is the supplier to all the major dealers and will sell to forum members at a good price. Paint is applied with a touch up brush that is included and takes about 3 or 4 dabs to cover the chip. You will probably always see the repair but it looks a lot better than the primer. Total cost including shipping, is probably not more than $13.00 a bottle.
This has been covered in previous postings. My experience with repairing bc/cc chips is to first get a paint supplier to mix a small amount of bc (When I have a car painted I always order extra for just this purpose). You need the feather out the chip as you can't just fill it and expect it to match - it won't. Once you prime and then you can use the clear coat spray and the "disolver" spray that Eastwood sells (I've been told paint suppliers have the same items). When you spray the clear coat over the base coat it often shows a lot of orange peel, the disolver "melts" it all smooth so that it also blends in with the rest of the area. I recently used this method on another collector car of mine. It was a metallic and after I did the above the match was unbelievable and impossible to tell (even though it was right where the hood meets the fender in the front of the car
