Default nice informative site

You folks have here.Maybe one of you can help me.Ive got a 66 rag that I have had since the late 70s.I parked it and pulled the body off about 20 years ago[kick ups rotted out,got another frame]and so it has sat, piled up in a corner of my shop. Now that I have some time on my hands,Im taking a crack at it.Now as for my question.I need backing plates, spindle bearings and other nicnacs, long since gone from the GM store and any of the local vette guys I dealt with back then seem to be gone also.SO...anyone who frequents this board from southern Ontario[gta area]be kind enough to point me to a decent place in this neck of the woods.Yeah I know about fleabay, online stores etc,Im a cash kinda guy.Thanx for your time,Mike

Try http://www.vansteel.com/ for starters.
Also, http://www.licorvette.com/ has a good supply of 'Vette parts.

I have found that the Chain Auto Stores do not have lots of Vette specific parts, but the old fashion neighborhood auto parts stores do have some. They usually have to look up the part numbers in the books, and order the stuff from the distributors, but you will be amaze at how much stuff is still available.
