I need a complete 65 BB 396/425. I have nothing but the car that needs it. Currently running a nice 65 327/350, but the car was an original BB roadster. Will consider parts but prefer a complete engine. Car was a May build.

Just saw on E-Bay Item #7976347712
396 block with 3/8 rods, and Forged crossdrilled crank
$2499.00
Says it's already been hot tanked and magnafluxed. could use .030 bore
The eBay 962 block item #7976347712 for $2499 is not really suitable for a '65 Corvette from a restoration stand point. It has an October (J) 1965 casting date placing it in the 1966 model year. It also lacks the signature webbing between the timing chain cover and the intake manifold that the early 962 had in’65. The webbing was also at the rear of the block between the bell-housing flange and the intake.
