Default Header Question

Does anyone know of a company the makes headers the bolt to stock side pipes? I have a cracked exhaust manifold, and headers seem a lot easier to deal with...

Perhaps someone is manufacturing a "shorty" header that will bolt right up. I went with the Heddman side exit headers and cut the factory side pipe and welded the collector on to bolt to the header.

I have the "Block Hugger" shorty headers that Corvette Central sells. From what I can tell they are about 1.5" shorter than the factory manifolds. I think you could easily add the 1.5" to the side pipe inlet and make them work. As for a direct fit; not that I am aware of.

Default Headers

Sanderson makes a header the same dimension as the ram horn. I just put on side exhaust and they bolted right up.

I called Sanderson. They said their headers were short and would need some fabrication. I know you said the bolted up... Did you have any issues?
