I did know chev made a hood with a hole in it. Like the mopar shaker hoods.

Only giving you a hard time man. it cool. A67 big block hood will run you around 900.00 to around 1300.00 going prices. Make sure it has the inside liner in it a org big block hood will run you 2,k plus.

Diff is if it is a true org 67 427 hood or a aftermarket one. If you fine a true org one that someone will let go of 2,k plus for it. Just like a org brake booster big $. and even a aftermarket one of these is 1300.00. I am only talking about what the brake fluid goes in.

I was at the corvette expo in G.B. tenn this last week end. Two diff poeple had a 427 hood one per say no diff than the other one was askinh 900.00 and other was 1300.00. both aftermarket hoods.

robert how much different is the after market hood versus the
original GM hood??? is the original GM hood worth spending the
extra money for????? thanks for your opinion.

The original hood (and some of the more expensive aftermarket) were Press Molded; ie smooth on both teh top and underside. He less expensive aftermarket hoods are Hand Laid; rough on the bottom.

call this guy he is in your area he has an original hood Scott 925 623 8576 saw it a few months ago dont know if he"ll sell it good luck
