Many of your parts appeared to be in good condition. And, there was enough to put together one running system. However, it wouldn't have been 100% stock for any year Corvette. Systems like that are called "Frankensteins" because they are assembled from miss-matched parts.

The only way you could have sold those parts for more would have been to run separate auctions for every piece. Even then, you wouldn't have netted what some of these fellows think is the going rate.

If any of you really believe a thousand dollars is a fair price for an unrestored 022 distributor missing its gears, data plate, and electric parts, please give me a call. I'll fix you up. Normally I can't get that amount for a fully restored 022 with a guarantee!
