Looking for an original 1967 427 435 HP block. No made up blocks! I will be inspecting the casting date.

Looking for date earlier than Jan 67. Please no ridiculous prices. Looking for nice block please. NO cracks or welded blocks please. No filled blocks.

proteam has one in the 1967 section that is built as a L88. i did not know the L88 had the same block as the L71.

there are a few faked ones out there, hard to tell once the casting and dates are massaged. Look and compare to know real ones, photoshop compare the number placement.

Smack a rubber mallet on the casting number too. There was a post on this forum not to long ago about a 396 with a 351 casting number. Made up with bondo to look original.. Disappointed owner for sure..
