For Sale 1958 Motor and automatic transminssion
I have a 1958 Motor I pulled from a 1958 Impala for sale. I has the distributor, intake and heads still on the block. $550.00 and you pick it up at my shop.
Here is some information about the motor.
Block Casting number 3737739..... 1958 283 230 HP...... 4bbl carb, powerglide transmission number on the pad in front of the engine is F3I7DB
Heads casting number is 3748770..... 1957 - 1962 283 with 1.72" intake & 1.50" exhaust valves
looks like another number cast in the head is L197
