Holley 2818 Carb for 327 365 hp 1964-65
I bought this carburetor completely overhauled and rebuilt to show quality condition when the original to my last day of production July 24, 1964 Sting Ray began to act up. This carburetor I'm now selling whose overhaul was done in New Jersey by a very reputable shop. The 2818 Holley is dated (3) March (4) 4th week of 1964 so it could have been used on a very late 1964 like mine or very early 1965 car.
I ended up sending my original carburetor back up to the same shop to be overhauled, as I was so pleased with this replacement carb. I ran this carb on my Sting Ray for less than 100 miles using REC 90 octane gas before my original carb came back from being overhauled. I then pulled it off the engine, drained it, and put it away. These show quality overhauled carburetors normally sell for close to $1,500. I'm willing to sell this carburetor for $795. Send me a PM if your intersted or post a comment here and I'll contact you. I'm located in Broward County Florida. This carb is for the L76 365 hp engine, although I'm sure it would work fine on a 327 cu in 300 hp, L76 340 or L79 350 hp engines.
