I'm looking for a 283 block for my Vette that was born in May of 1961. Prefer a CU suffix, but will consider others that were mated with a manual trans.

I have a cu block dated j50. I know you said but this block went to a 61 model year vette. Will send pics if you want .

Yes, I am interested. Please PM me some photos of the pad and other markings, along with cylinder bores and etc. I'd also like a picture showing whether the bottom of the cylinder bores are straight or curved. Please include the price too. Thanks
