I'm trying to find a good forged piston to run with the closed chamber 98cc oval port vette heads I have. ANy suggestions? These are hard to come by. Thanx

Call JE, Weisco, or some of the other piston manufacturers. Most will make just about anything you want at not much more than their production offerings.

A flat-top should work with closed chamber heads and give about 9:1 compression. Weisco offers high comp pistons that fit both open and closed heads also. Check the piston listings at http://www.flatlanderracing.com, they have quite a few offerings listed. What size motor (bore and stroke)?

Greg the motor I'am building is a 060 over 427 forged bottom end with the weisco pistons I decided to go with. The salesman told be if i decked my block to a 9.775 and used a 038 gasket I will be at 11.5 comp. I can live with that. My heads have noticeable intake port work, and I'm debating on going with bigger valves. 2.19 1.88 or 2.25 1.88. I want to get these heads breathing the most they can. Right now they have 2.06 1.72. What are my chances of getting these heads flowing good?
