December 1965 L-72 Carb
Hey guys, selling an original L-72 Holley carb, list 3247. Date coded to 2nd week of December 1965, making this an original not a re-pop. Carb is in outstanding condition! Still has the original greenish tint not the later re-plated gold look.
Base plate, bowls and metering blocks (4901 and 4519) are correct. I believe it was rebuilt (blue gaskets) and probably stored. Not sure if it was run though. If I was to use it I would be comfortable bolting it on and trying it.
Of note is the main body, bowls and metering blocks are the same tint which leads me to believe this carb is complete with all the original components as they came on the car.
I’m a lifelong Ford guy and I’d kill to find a 428CJ carb this nice!
I’d like $1100 USD plus $30 shipping to Canada and the lower 48. International shipping we can chat.

I've had a fellow member tell me he suspects this carb may be a re-pop. I agree to disagree due to the quality of the stamping, the 60's coloring and the fact that is has the brass throttle shafts. I certainly don't see anything that tells me it's a re-pop.
Just wanted to throw it out there to be straight.
