1965 F/I Radiator Core Support
I want to trade my 1965 radiator core support, which is a replacement unit and includes the Fuel Injection air cleaner inlet opening, for a good 1965 radiator core support for a non-F/I, non A/C car. I think that the 1964 supports are the same as well.
I believe, but don't know how to confirm, that mine is an early 80's GM replacement, from the era when all Chevy replacement core supports included the F/I air inlet. Mine has poorly re-welded cross rods, but comes with new ones sourced from Zip.
Who has a good 1964-65 non F/I, non A/C radiator core support and wants to trade for mine? Since all the catalogs want about $150 more for a F/I core support, but mine needs the cross support rods re-welded (supplied), all I'm asking is that you pay for both shippings, mine to you, and yours to me. Otherwise, even up.
Mine has no rust, corrosion, dents, or bends, and has all the correct attachments, captured nuts, and the threaded holes are in good condition. It does have some Rally Red overspray on the bottom. It does not come with any fasteners - I'll be needing those. I need one in similarly good shape in return.
Additional close up pictures available upon request.
If you need this, but don't have a non-F/I, non A/C one to trade, PM me.
Kevin

FWIW, Rex, I'll be passing through your area (Lexington) the first week of July.
So, if you happen to have one, the shipping would be taken care of.
