I am in need of one windsplit (that long piece of chrome on either side of the hood) and one of my pair is not really in that great a shape. Looking for excellent condition, would really like to save myself from having to buy a pair. Originals would of course be great. Thank you!

I have some trim that came from a 1960. I believe the what you are looking for are at the bottom of the first attached picture and on the left of the 2nd pic. I'd sell you the nicer of the two for $80. Take a look and confirm that those are what you are searching for. If so, I'll assess the condition and take/send some detailed pictures for you.
I have some driver-quality originals. I’d rather not split any set up. I think for 1959 the attached screws were threaded, and I do have at least one set with those threaded screws. $100 per pair plus the ride.
Also FYI I had my local chrome shop remove the dings from and polish the driver-quality set on my 1962, at the cost of $150. They are now absolutely perfect!
