San Diego guys
Hey I'm heading down to the Escondido Show (the 1st of the year and biggest) I'll be down on Main Street, Escondido, with FAUXRS and some other motor heads around 3PM-8PM. Lets have a decent Vette showing.

I would not mind going what time are you going to drive up there? Could we maby meet up somewhere an drive up in a group? I might leave early because they have the drag at qualcom again.

It's called Crusin' Grand and its Friday...
Parking is tough as nails to find if you get there after 3 pm.. the cruise is about 5 city blocks long - lined with restaurants and a few bars - a couple of art galleries.. its is seriously the best damn cruise south of LA.. possibly best in all of SOCal..
oh and the Nova is a '69
Grand is the main drag of Escondido and is the civic downtown...the cruise goes on every friday through september..it gets a phenomenal turnout every time...the whole downtown is wired for sound with speakers on the lamp posts that 50's & 60's tunes blare through...there are awards each night for a number of categories...
Parallel parking make looking at the cars real easy...there are also bank lots that fill up after 6pm....one street is blocked off for a different club/type of car that is the highlight part of the cruise....technicly 73 and earlier american cars..though noone seems to enforce the years or type of cars much.. Lord knows ive been there with my 78 more times than i can count....

Just got back from the good guys car show. It was pretty good, The swap meet sucked though. I did find an owners manual for my car. I think there were 2 c3's there and about 5 c1,s

Pretty much all street rods. I did like looking at all the different engine combos. I did see a truck with a corvette rearend and frontend
that was pretty cool. I also went to qualcom for the 8th mi. There was a c5 there tearing it up, Giving a viper some compitition. They were doing it in the 7.4s
