Last week there were four Corvettes on e-bay just like this one.
1962 White/Red for the buy now price of $9,800
1965 Black/Black Conv 396 car for $10,300
1965 Silver/Black Coupe 396 for $9,000
1966 Blue/Black Conv 427 for $10,600
Not a bid on any of them. I e-mailed the seller of the 62 and was told the car was in England and they were selling it because a family member passed away. They said it would cost $6,500 to ship it to the port in Newark NJ.
What a bunch of BS. I am sure someone in England would buy that car overthere for $25,000 on its worst day.

1) There is no "seller". There is a scammer who created an E-Bay listing with pics of a Corvette he found elsewhere on the internet.
2) No-one in England could/would buy that car. It is not in possession of the person offering it for sale. It does not exist as you see it.

You are absolutely correct. In fact, shipping costs are less than they quoted,as they stuff them into containers now for about $2000.00.I know a retired college professor who ships his C5 from Hawaii to San Francisco each year to drive to Michigan each year on vacation. What BS these E-bay deals are.
