Having to jump back and forth between the 2 pages already sucks , I'll give it a some time before I start a poll to get it switched back, now which section do I put it in?

I gotta agree. I generally check the forum three or four times a day or more. This is the first time I've dipped into "general" (versus the three times I've already visited "tech" since the split). I don't seem myself coming over here very often, frankly.

I've been on the forum since 1999 and have enjoyed it being one section. Never really got into the debates about splitting or not splitting. To many more important things in life. I'm just going to go with the flow and read both sections.

Just venting a little, no polls to come from me. I hope everyone goes to both section but I think people will tend to go to one or the other and threads will die on the vine if those with the answer don't visit the section the thread is in.

I need the additional exercise anyway. Kinda like increasing the number of "reps"

I like the split!
Threads will stay on page one longer, and if you are interested in tech stuff, go there, general stuff, this is the place.

Anyway, how can a topic about ET-performance from technical modifications be in "general", and NOT in "Tech/Perf"???
Oh-yeah..... THIS is good.....

I'm assuming that a post made in one section or the other will stay there unless obviously misplaced. I feel for the mods having to split up the existing posts.
I think we should give this a chance.

I like the split. A basic (brief) definition of what constitutes what in each section as a sticky will sort out some teething problems. The world is never black and white but Forum members will quickly know where to go to get the right information and from whom. There will obviously be some cross-over posts. Can't be helped.
As a non-performance, restoration type I thank Troy for his initiative.

I am not spending much time here these days. The split will probably reduce it even more.
