I know this is a long-shot, but I have been curious as to whether my old 71 is now owned by a member of this forum. It was a Brandshatch green on saddle 71 LS-5 Coupe with 4-speed. Only options were deluxe interior and the 454. It had an aftermarket L88 hood on it but was otherwise stock. I sold it to a fellow forum member in 2001 who then later sold it (I believe it went to PA at that time but I'm not sure).
I'm not looking to buy it back, but I do have some history on the car for the current owner if he's around here. And I'd love to know that she is still alive and doing well.

I was interested ib buying it and in fact you sent me pics etc. I couldn't get the proper trialer hitch installed on my rust bucket Suburban, so that nixed the deal.
If I remember correctly, the guy was from Md and already had 2-3 C3's. I thought he flew up from MD and drove it home.
Looking back, that was a great price.
How's the job going? I thought you transfered to Texas?

Yeah, Chris (69L71) bought the car and drove it from my house in Chicago back to Baltimore. I haven't seen him on the forum for a long time. I believe he had 2 69's also. I was sad to see it go but I was moving to Houston at the time and didn't have use for any car without A/C.
I since moved back to IL and now have a 67 L-79 Coupe, which is the Corvette I always wanted.
