Sounds just like another "dis-connect" system to me. There was a similar device out years ago where you could program your light switch,or certain radio station,or window wipers into the engine start sequence to prevent theft.(only you knew the sequence).The module intergrated into your wiring harness.You also got a spare connector (which restored all back to normal) should the "module" fail. $125.00 installed. Same story about auto delerships using it,as well. SNAKE OIL.
