Default Need a SECURE C3 Corvette Cover

Due to unexpected marriage issues, I am moving to another home. One car fits in the small 2-car garage; the other will have to sit outside. It is here in Florida. I need recommendations on C3 Car covers. Will need the cover by this weekend so I'll probably have to pay extra shipping also.

Your car cover suggestions welcome. Would like something that is secure; ie. lockable with a cable that runs underneath the car from one side to the other. I know that if somebody wants the car bad enough, this won't stop them.

I'll be parking the L46 in the garage and the L48 in the driveway. The L48 has much better weatherstripping (I replaced it).

Sorry to hear about the marriage woes, Ted. BTDT, got the lawyer fees....

This is the cover I bought since my car has had to sit outside (but now only until May 13!!):

The NOAH stuff is about the best thing going. And it has the under-car cable that you can lock. While I don't know that I would consider it secure from as an anti-theft device it will at least be a pain and will definitely keep it from flying away.

Best of luck going forward.

Thx for the info. I ordered the Noah car cover via the Zip store on Corvette Forum today. $150 + $10 for the lock/cable.

Figured with the lock/cable, at least those that are curious will be deterred.

good choice, I have that one and my car sits outside as well. My T-Tops leak, but with the car cover on they do not anyway, it's a good cover and I trust it!

Noah car cover shipped Monday afternoon. $175 delivered with the cable/lock. Ordered from Zip via the Corvette Store on the 'Forum. Should arrive later this week (Sat).

Thanks for the tips.

If there is room, put some towels or wierd boxes under the cover so that passers-by can't tell it's a Vette. Make it look like a Toyota or something...

Went to the website. There are two rated better than the Noah ( The Ultraguard and Weathershield) but they are more expensive also. Looking at the Ultraguard. Is it worth the extra $$. My 71 has a very good paint job but won't set outside much.
