Key Lock question

My 1976 L-82 uses the same key for the door and ignition, but my friends 1976 L-48 uses 2 different keys. Have my locks been changed or something?

My 78 has three different keys.One for ignition,one for doors,and one that unlocks the gas cap where I pour $2.60 per gallon 89 octane.
Sounds like one or the other was re-keyed,in your case.
