Where is Jamul California? I am in San Jose and have not heard anything about that on the radio on my way to work today.
I was up at 5:30am this morning and did not feel any movement up here in San Jose.

It's east of San Diego ... not close enough for you to feel a 4.0 wayy up there!
But thanks guys for suggesting that I rebuild my front end using four jack stands not just two.
The car didn't fall down and I'm just 8 miles away from that quake!

Hello,
Thanks for the post. You mentioned something that I did not think about. I currently have my 72 up on jack stands. If we had one here in San Jose I can see where the movement might cause it to slip, or fall off. I need to take it off the stands until this weekend when I can finish my rear spring installation.

Jamul is east of San Diego about 35 miles or so.It was 4.0 magnitude at 4:06 AM.You are to far away from the center to have felt it.
