That is Toooo damn funny. The first pic looked like my engine, what with the blue paint on the fenders and all. Then the red calipers. I just bought red caliper paint today. Then up on blocks in all corners, mine too, to pull the calipers off and put in new seals. Plus, I just got my dash back in after replacing the heater core, radio, and center bezel. Mines a ragtop though. Were we separated at birth?
Have you replaced the heater core yet? You're already past the tough part -- the DASH. I put a tip sheet together if you want to see it. Its also posted at:
Got your pictures Jims73SF, hopefully one day you can post them on this forum. Based on the pictures I saw there is a resemblance. When both cars are back on the road, maybe they'll meet up one day.
Unforunately I can't post pictures on the forum. (No, I don't know why. )

What you need to do to post pics is to first upload your pic(s) to
a location on the internet. Some people use cardomain.com, photobucket.com, photohost.org or if your ISP provides you with some webspace, that will work too. Then in your post, click on the "Insert Image" button (directly below the right side of the font "size" box) and then place the whole address to the pics within the box that appears. To finish click the OK button and what ends up within your post should look something like this.
Note that the image tags (img) are misspelled (image) so they will show up here and not actually try and display a picture.
May your vette live forever? I hope you guys do! Those homemade jack stands look scary! Be safe out there! I lovem too, but death is not an option. Good luck on getting er done
