Kickdown setup help please!?!?

Anybody know how to setup the kickdown properly. Mine does seem to be since I installed the new carb. Does kick down right. Any help would be great.

Oh ya sorry. My bad. I have a 76 with the th350 and a edelbrock 1406 carb.
