Default Ordered my new Drag Race front skinnies...

Damaged one of my Good Year front skinnies at the track about a week ago, so I placed my order at Summit yesterday... I ordered some 28 x 4.5 - 15 Moroso DS2 Drag Special front runners. (actually wanted to go with 27 inch tall skinnies, but they weren't available in 27 inch)
Does anybody here use them?? They were the most inesxpensive front runners available...

They're seen quite frequently.

GSC3:
I believe that Mickey Thompson makes a street-legal 26"-tall skinnie, works fine on 15" x 3.5" wheels, 'specially-designed for 3000+ pound cars.....

Yeah, they make street legal ones, but those are twice the weight of the race skinnies...

26 inch would also be too small. I like to have approx. The same height front and rear.. If the front would be lower, it would affect the weight distribution... My slicks are 28 inch tall, so 27 inch - 28 inch is the desired tire height..

I thought maybe you originally wanted 27" tall (or smaller) fronts for better Reaction Times at the strip.....

Well - I was looking to get 27 inch tall skinnies.. Never was interested in smaller than 27 inch size...
