Default Corvette America Leather Seats (Late C3)

I put late C3 seats in my '77 yesterday. They're made by Corvette America and I got them through Willcox. My question is, do they soften up a bit after use? Right now they're hard as rocks. I also recommend having the seats out before clipping in the new cushions--I pulled out my back doing it in the car and now my car is all done and ready to go, but I'm not!

Look good, I like how you carpeted the center console.

You're not actually going to drive your car...?

P.S. - More pics of the chick in your avatar, please.

I put leather conditioner on them today and I think they're softening up--though maybe it's because my back is killing me that I think they're so hard.

As far as the carpet, I went with the late C3 carpet scheme. All the sound deadening material paid off; with the windows up, I can't hear the chambered exhaust at idle. But, when I step on it, suddenly a wonderful sound fills the car.

Sound insulation is what makes a car feel SOLID. No rattles, no creaks, and the smell of the new leather and carpet--I really feel I'm driving a new car.

Yep, I get lots of looks with my C3, but they really stare when Nova gets out of the 'vette--I'm sure more then one SUV has been traded in on a C5 or C6 on account of her.

By the way D. Ocean, Nova and I will be in Miami and the Keys shortly; Nova's filming in a Blue Hole Productions flick. I was born and raised in Miami--I lived about a mile from where the Parrot Jungle used to be.

Interior looks great. I feel the pain! I just finished up my interior rebuild last week. I spent to much time hunched over putting in the rear trim and now I am paying for it. I have lower back problems every once in a while and I guess that once in awhile is now. Oh well, no pain no gain

Yeah, I'd take a mashed finger or a deep bleeding gash (my 'vette requires both to run right) over a strained back. I found the only thing that makes me feel better right now is a combination of prescription ibuprofen, codeine, and rum. The sad part was it was all done; I just had to put in the seats and go go go. But no.

Anybody notice I put the seatbelt parts with the release button in backwards?! Well, out come the seats again...

Really? Does she need help with wardrobe between scenes?

Lemme no if you need "props" for photography...Vettes, Cigarette Boats, waterfront homes.

Thanks! Anything on the water would be nice--the only place I've taken her to before in Florida is Disney--a waterfront home would be cool! So far we're shooting on a yacht off Palm Beach, an underwater shoot with dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center (Duck Key), Ft. Jefferson, and Pigeon Key. She has a nice tan now, so she's ready to go--should be in about 3-4 weeks. I'll email you before we leave--I'll have 3 other models with me too.

This is what she looked like on Saturday April 9th:

It's no picnic--models just don't get along--at all. The worst part is, I got to take my Ford van instead of the 'vette. I better fix the a/c in it too, otherwise I'm really gonna be in trouble.

Just keep putting leather conditioner on them I use Mequirers and it has really made my seats soft. I condition really well every time I wash it!

I bought some yesterday and I'm doing as you are suggesting.
