A few weeks ago a fellow runs into the right side of my pickup truck in a gas station parking lot, needs a new fender and door. So when I droped it off at the body shop I saw a black C5 with the fiberglass gone from both the front and rear, to bad a torn up vette. When I return a week later to get my truck, the black vette was setting out ready to pickup as well. So I stroll over to take a look, the info on the car says it belongs to APD. So I ask the guy that works there if APD means Austin Police Dept. and he says it does.
So beware a black C5 with heavy tinted windows, and by the way no license plate on the front end.
What would you do to a cops car given the opportunity after he sets you up to race and then writes you a ticket, not that law enforcement would ever do that.

oh of course not, they're all perfect law abiding citizens
It happens..had a Tenn State Trooper try to get me to race several years ago on I-40; he was driving a Grand National, and I kept thinking the guy was baiting me; when he finally passed, I saw the lights in the rear window and the grill.

No of course not
...happens to me on an almost daily basis. Really makes me feel important when they pull over to let me by, then jump back out behind me so they can tailgate for the next 5 miles. (I know I know, it takes 5 miles to read a license plate)
We used to let the Travis County Sherriffs park thier cruisers and/or family cars in our lot.
They had a 72 El Camino -- dark windows, big wheels on the back, one obviously replaced front fender --- they used to park it and film drug deals.
I figure the black Vette is for the same - only in the Westlake High School parking lot. There it will blend in with the beemers, Porsches and Jags the kids drive.
