Default we fixed our little problem today!

Well I posted in tech the other day our 68 427 runs GREAT but when we got on it it would stumble and wanna fall on it's face well we figured it was the carb needed some cleaning so we took the carb apart today soaked it in a bucket of that carb cleaning stuff then took wire and ran it through the jets etc to try to clean it up enough to atleast see if the carb was the problem well after we did that we put it back on didn't change a THING.

so we said ok what else needs done...lets change out the fuel filter and the little fuel filter in the carb well had to order the main one from advance but they had the carb one.

got back home took the old main filter out noticed how brown the gas looked in it...though wow good thing were changing it well took it off went and blew it out with te air compressor just being curious of how dirty that gas was and it blew out brown junk all over the place.

we poured gas in the old filter shook it around and again hit it with the air compressor....more junk came out (did this a few times)

put it back on the car all cleaned out and guys holy cow that was the only problem this car gets it now buddy

at 25-30mph several times it was loosing traction the tires were barking and it was gettin all over the road!

PNDRL you said you thought it might be something with it not getting the fuel and buddy you hit the nail on the head!

we knew it was something minor because it ran great until you got on it hard but it runs perfect now it had just not had enough miles on it from the 2nd owner he had it since 94 til llike 2 weeks ago and put about 2k miles on it during that time

well all I can say is
