I might consider if the price is right. I have a set of originals that are in decent shape... was thinking about having them re-cromed this year. I know that will cost me about $1200.

I am hoping to price them around $1850.00 That will be a savings of $400.00 per kit.

I did not know you could re-chrome these. What about the grey section in the valleys of the fins. Can any re-chroming service do this - or do you recommend a particular person.

Paid $550 for a complete brand new set of factory covers with pipes from my GM dealer in 82'. Unbelievable what could happen in 20 or so years and I thought I was paying alot of money then.

If you want to get in on this deal i need at least 5 people. The price for the complete sets are $1825.00. I will also offer a deal on the insulators, and chrome shields only if i can get 5 people together on the complete kits. Here are the prices:

*fiberglass insulators, pair $999.00
*chrome side pipe covers only, 6pc set $899.00

These parts are new genuine GM reproduction parts. These are not restored parts. Please let me know who is in on this. I will start collecting money ASAP. Corvetteworks@aol.com

I'm in--$2200+ is way too much--they need to be priced around where the C2 covers are.
