Still need to install Sway Bar bushings and - DUH! - the coils...and the new inner/outer tie rod ends. I forgot to order new Tie Rod end Sleeves but I can get those locally. It will be all new in that front end this week!

Use a good floor jack and the springs won't hurt you if you use common sense. In my case even after dropping the lower control arms, I still needed to pry the springs out of the pockets. Adn by that time the pressure is completely off them so the only way you'll get hurt is by the weight of the spring if it falls on your finger.
New springs are shorter so even easier to get in and out.

I used a spring compressor on the first one I did and it wound up causing FAR more problems than it ever solved. Chained the next one to the frame, lowered it CAREFULLY with the jack and still had to pry it out just like Paul said.
I did the same combo of springs & shocks, just that I bought mine from VB&P. HUGE difference and worth EVERY PENNY. Lookin good Paul!
