Default Stereo question for people with subs

I'm picking up a single 10" sub this weekend along with a new pair of 6x9s and single amp to drive them all. Did any of you running subwoofers have to upgrade to a higher output alternator? I'm pretty sure the 81 has something like a 63amp alt on it right now, and I know that's pretty small. I'm just wondering if it'll be enough when I add an amp to the mix.

I have 2 10" subs with amp and a 70 amp alternator and no problems.

the amp will be wired directly to the battery via a relay so all the "heavy hits" will come from battery power.....i would think your ears would give out first before the alternator did.

I did have to upgrade to a higher output alternator. My orginal unit may have been marginal to begin with though. My amp would cut out ever 30 seconds or so. I put in a 100amp unit and all is good now.
