replacing rear window molding
I've been thinking about something that bothers me on my 81, the rear window molding. It seems cheap, collects dirt, and in my opinion is not too asthetically pleasing. Has anyone considered replacing this molding with a rubber strip used on modern cars? Let me know if anyone has any ideas or has done this. thanks

From a few years ago, I recall seeing a first generation Camaro in one of the car magazines that had it's windshield and rear window glass raised flush with the body lines like modern cars. It was a very subtle change that really cleaned up the look of the car.
