1977 L48 Coupe
350 ci
th350
Edelbrock Performer
stock Q-Jet
CompCams 268HE
Hooker headers
2" badly made exhaust
3300lbs
3.08 gears
14.957 @ low 93 something... I think
Heartland Park Topeka, KS

In any case I'll have to update this in two weeks after my first Cruise In. I was still sucking through stock heads back then... New setup is still "teething." Could the Lars Tuning for Beer event one week before have been better timed??

As I mentioned in my PM...

Come to the National Corvette Challenge during the Corvette Forum Cruise in in 3 weeks!! The weather hopefully won't be too hot and the elevation is about 600 feet there

Would love to see that beast run and maybe get a chance to run against you!! That would be fun and would make a awsome C3 video!!

Slicks on all 4 tires

Is it a road race setup or are you talking about front skinnies?? I've never seen anybody with slicks in front!!

holley 505:
Your rear-gear is killing your ET.....
4.11s and something-sticky would get you into the low-14s easily, as a 98-MPH trap-speed should be very close to the 13-second mark.

I am hoping to run mid to high 12 with MY LS1 motor.
That should be complete within the next 2 weeks.
I am guessing 12.6 at 113mph that would be great!

I would love to make the corvette challenge in Bradenton florida.

GREAT post lets keep in coming....
