DAS shipped my vette from San Jose, Ca to Alabama for $750.00 ( $119.00 extra to insure it, which bought me a trim ring someone "appropriated" ) I think it would have been a little over 1K to ship it covered. Not bad for a 2400-mile trip. The worst part was waiting for them to get a truckload coming east. Once it left the Bay Area it took 3 days to get to Al.

That blue looks awsome. I could not see the pics using Firefox but IE let me see. You have a very nice car. I don't know what it is about that color but I really like it. One of my friends has a 69 tripower coupe and it just blows me away.

Thanks everyone, I'm really excited about the car. I arranged for all of the shipping. I went with JJJ Auto Transport. They are going to pick it up on monday and they said it will take 3 days to get to my house(ohio to california). It will be shipped in a 2005 fully enclosed(metal) trailor with air ride syspension and tied down with nylon straps. They seem like a top notch shipping company. I am so pleased to find this site, there is a HUGE wealth of information and hopefully I can give back to it as well.

Awesome looking car! Congrats Are you going to install the Chrome Fender Vents? I'm not sure if they were Standard or Option... I thought they were standard factory installed in 1969 and only an option in 1968. Still a beautiful car!
