why would you want one? if there is a hard part to changing the oil it would be taking off the filter not unloosening a drain plug, use nylon or copper washers when you put it back in. and i doubt a drain valve would be as effective as adrain plug in geting the oil off the bottom.
Actually the drain valves are used on most aircraft without them coming open in the air etc. The valves aren't safety wired either like a bolt would be(of course it IS safety wired to the pan). I used to think they were unsafe/leaky until I put one on my plane and felt how hard they seal when closed(one heck of a spring), it is the least of my fears. In the last 10 years it leaked once, a slight drip, so I replaced the o-ring on it and it's been good ever since.
What this is really useful for on a plane is that I attach a peice of 5/8 ID hose to the valve and the other end to a bucket and then just press up on the valve to start the flow. No muss. On a car this all changes of course.
The worst part about changing the oil on my plane is taking out the screen, cleaning it, putting it back in and safety wiring it. I suck at aviation safety wiring. Believe it or not, there are requirements for twists per inch etc.

I put one of the Fram oil drain plugs on my truck a few years back. It works as advertised. The only problem I had with it was the fact that it really slowed down the oil change process. I took it back off and I think it is still on the shelf out in the garage. There may be other valve out there that will let the oil drain faster.
