Hey vette owners, is there any way people can post problem vendors in one central place that is avaiable at all times? Would sure help newbies like me who don't have much experience ordering on line. One thing that I have learned from forum members, is that Summit is a good company. I only found this out by searching through old threads one night.

Afterall, the forum has links to supporting vendors, why not a link to bad vendors.

Maybe the moderators can set something up.

Thanks.

He's been "doing it" for years and he still is. Obviously he knows just what he can get away with and how to skirt the law(s). I plastered him all over the internet a few years ago and got all kinds of consumer and law enforcement agencies on him when he was Florida Caliper. He changed the name of the company and kept moving forward. I got my money back via my bank.

First time I heard anything about this Vendor. I hope you used a credit card to pay him. If you did you are covered. Just call your card company. If you used a check or cash you're screwed!!!

There's a vendor in Long Island that I will never deal with again but they only sell C-2 parts. They go under the name LICS.

I agree about having someway to keep track of problem vendors and a thread or something that won't be lost in the archives when it could be helping prevent someone else being ripped off.

If there is one thing I don't like about this forum is that there is sooooooo much info (which I love) you sometimes get overwhelmed and miss something that would be of great use to you. I use the search function quite thoroughly every time I have a question to see if it has already been answered but sometimes you just miss it because your search criteria are slightly off.

zrusny: as cool as that listing is and as much as I agree with it, be careful dude I don't want you getting in trouble from ebay because of some 2-bit scammer, that listing could be a bit dangerous for you if someone brings it to their attention.

isn't that florida caliper, caliper 2000, florida chrome and what other host of business names he has used? He must be doing his own websites..otherwise he's paying a lot to have someone build him a new site every year or so. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I can't believe he's still allowed to do business after ripping off so many people, the topics about caliper 2000, florida caliper & florida chrome are almost endless..there's certainly more than i can remember.

Default Database

I am going to try and compile a database to provide to the FBI showing the amount of people and dollars that Carl has defrauded people out of in all of his business names.
If you would like to be included, please send me a private email with your name and all contact info (address, phone and email). Include the approximate date of the transaction, the amount and the business he was operating as when it happened. This database will never, ever be available online in any form, will never be sold, auctioned or otherwise distributed for any reason and will only be provided to law enforcement officers for the purpose of bringing Carl Shuhi to justice.
If you would like me to keep you posted on the number of people and the amount, indicate "KMP" in you email-otherwise you will not be contacted.
Thanks for your help.

This forum is the reason why I never dealt with that douchebag. I can't believe vettepartsonline is still in business. You'd think the BBB or something had gotten ahold of him by now.

Nothing against you but why would you of wanted to do that (bank wire) when purchasing with a credit card is much safer. I have been saved by the credit card company plenty of times from slime ***** out there like the vendor you mentioned and the vendor I mentioned previously. You would be surprised on the C-2 forum how many people had problems with the vendor from Long Island yet there are always members there that stick up for that vendor because they never had a problem with them. I tell them there is always a first time. If they didn't screw you now they may later on.

I believe the vendor required/requested the bank wire. Undoubtedly, he's keen to the fact that CC's can be charged-back.
