For some sicko reason I like the Corvette Summer car. Maybe with some polished centerlines and real 4 into 1 sidepipes....I know, I know...

Save for the wheels I actually like it. Side dumps are timeless. Maybe I like it because I saw Corvette Summer when it was first released and that's movie is what started my Love for Vettes.

lol for once me being in Australia gives me the upper hand.
The link you have given is NOT, i repeat NOT, a corvette, a 'perentti' uses an Australian holden (holden is GM's division in Australia) ute chassis and a fibreglass body made in australia during the 80's. It is a corvette look a like, so don't stress it guys no vette was harmed in the making of that monstrosity!
PS a ute is an aussie term for a 'utility vehicle' similar to your elcamino's etc they are far more popular over here than the larger and higher ground clearance pickup trucks that are so prevalent in the U.S.

Well...considering he spent $40k Australian...that's about $150.00 USD.
The guy should save the car until Australia goes "Mad Max". Then the car will fit right in.

This is not the first time that car has been listed on Ebay. It shows up every now and then. To me it looks like a Monza or something like that with lots of fiberglass work done on it. The real Corvette Summer car is owned by Mike Yager at Mid America Corvette. Check out thier website for more pics of the original Corvette Summer car.
