After 5 years of screwing around with this restoration, the 69 427/435 coupe is painted!
I've had the body off and on twice, redid the chassis twice, moved twice, ended one marriage, and had 6 OTHER corvettes roll through my possession; but now I can look down and see progress! With any luck I'll have her back in rolling status by the end of next week!

All in 5 years? WOW, you have been very busy!!
Great collection of photos, vette is looking awesome.
Thanks y'all. It is nice to finally see it coming together.
I just ordered $400 worth of chassis bolts from Dr Rebuild so I can get the thing back together. The frame is powdercoated and ready for re-assembly, but I cleaned and sandblasted a bunch of the bolts, and they all rusted. That is the ones that I haven't lost over the various moves.
I'll post more pics after I get the body back home and reunited with the chassis. I'll also try to update some of the older photos of the various incarnations of rework...
