says the car is un touched but on the door handles it looks to have a home made pull handle??? never saw a 68 with that surely that isn't stock right?

The door handles look stock to me, you use the push button to open the door and the handles above are just for pulling on.
EDIT: The button I'm refering to is the key lock it self. You actually push in the key lock button and pull the door open with the handle (on the top of the door). In 69 they changed it so the handle operates the door latch(a lot more easy to use IMHO).

Here's a 68, doesn't have that handle either. The price looks good on this car but I actually saw it in person and it needs a full restore and the motor is seized.

someone used later model door panels. The 68's are unique and have a molded in grab area. Look like he added those Belair pull handles to later model door panels to me imo

I just looked at the pics they're 68 door panels with some like you said home made door handles installed ....probably because the pull area got loose so they bubbfied it with some of their own haha.

My 68 has both the molded pull and the handle. Looks correct to me. I grew up with this car and don't remember any interior additions. Was there a difference between leather and vinyl interiors? Did I just find out something my grandfather did to the car?

Those door pulls are correct. '68's built after April had those installed. They are '68 only*.
Although mine is technically an early '68 I am installing these style door pulls because I hate the molded in pulls. My left wrist just wasn't made to turn upside down and at a right angle while pulling the door closed. A dumb '68 oversight in my opinion that Chevy rectified later in the model year.
*I learned that the deluxe interiors for the 1st gen Camaros used the same handle, so although the Corvette guys say they aren't reproduced (you won't find them in the Corvette catalogs), they are readily available through Camaro restoration parts houses. Camaro and Corvette didn't share interior colors in some instances so you may have to dye a set if you want them.
