Any of you guys out there with a aftermarket hood From ACI or Ecklers or whatever brand you have...

I need 4 to 5 inches from the outer fender line to Clear my setup. I know the factory hood in 1977 is about a 2 inch rise. I need 2.5 inches more.

I am not sure when the hood manufactor say 2.5 higher than stock what relationship is that over a STOCK 77 hood or from the Fender?

I measured using a straight edge going from fender to fender. Top of the carb comes to just over 3 inches. And then I need room for the filter. 1.5 to 2 inches with a Drop Base.
