High Temp Header Paint Let Me Know?

Looking for a good high temp aluminum type paint. Of course I am looking for a paint, that will hold up and wont peal/burn off??

Looking for suggestions???

Or Jet Hot coating. The spray on paints will not last more than a few heat cycles.

I agree with the above members.....there is NO spray-on paint that will last...OR header that will last without ceramic or Jet Hot coating.....

You can try header wrap spray coating, I recently used it on wrap, it looks like chrome silver, good to 1500*. I sprayed some on my headers just to see how it would last and to date they look great, my under carriage never sees rain so that helps........ceramic coating/Jet Hot is the best way to go.....

VHT makes a high temp., 1300 - 1500, spray paint. Got some from Jegs, but have not used it yet.

I coated a set of old headers with POR-20. Let it dry and took a torch to it. Didn't flinch, but haven't had the headers installed to test actual operating (1500deg) temp.
