L88 Buckets
Has anyone finished their L88 Buckets for their headlight assemblies that was posted via the cad file a couple months ago? Anyone got any pictures of their finished buckets installed? How was the fit? Thanks

Give me a second ill show you my pic today i took,i painted them body color too.i just want my headlight covers to come in,im waiting patiantly but its starting to get rediculous.

They fit good,i had to modify the mounting points on them a bit compared to the cad drawings i guess because mines a 73 and not a 68-72 but theyll work for the summer and ill make another set this winter.But either way if you make a set up make a cardboard template first to make sure they fit then go from there.Between matt(scooter) and nick ,i was able to make mine up.Right now i really dont have the time to make another set trying to get the car final buffed out and interior back in for summer.And i really need the covers to mount the buckets to make sure there centered right.

your still waiting for your lenses?? that sucks. Thought they said 3 weeks?

Nick im still waiting,guldstrand called back and said the order came in but the quality wasnt right so he sent them back,he said 3 more weeks,well that was 5 weeks ago after that phone call.Im calling them tommorrow to find out whats up.

I had a pair made up from the CAD drawing. (I also had access to a pair of originals so the prople who made it up had them to compare to...) That said, they're still sitting in my garage because I don't want to remove my old lights and be without any headlights until I get everything else that I need to finish the job.
