I kind of like it too. I always thought of putting green lights behind the grill of my green 68 chevrolet pickup before I sold it. Something to set it apart from the rest - but not to fit in the the others with lights.

It would be cool if you could somehow make it get brighter with higher engine rpms, have it dim at idle.

Pic looks cool. However I'm not sure what my opinion of the lights themselves, but it is different.

Good morning class and welcome to the world of LIGHTS

please follow my easy step by step directions for our task today
now before we begain i must tell you there are 2 ways of doing this... the advised way and my way
If you would like you can run throught the fire wall with all of the other wires but i find that that way requires way to much work
so here we go

first the lights are put up and the wires pulled inside from the underside

then i pulled the wires from the passenger side of the car up under the hood and ran the across to the driver side

from here i ran the wires from the passenger side and down to where the light is on the driver side. with the wires together i ran them into the cabin from under the driver side using the drain plug

after running through the drain pulg i used water tight sealent to make sure water from the road would not end up in the cab
then i ran under the carpet up to the switch on the side of the driver side. this switch is already run to the altinator and has a fuse.

and that is how i did it... i know there are better ways of doing it but for me i think this will work.
easy to do and all wires are hidden

There is a thin red line on rice at times, and I think you are standing right on it. But, I think I could make a diplomatic endeavour and make me a set of those, too! I think I will try the RPM variable illumination thing with some LEDs. It should be easy, especially with an elecronic distributor. A transistor should do the trick, but i have been out of the electronics loop awhile. I will have to do some remembering...
