If so, put a Crown in this idiot's head! I've given them $4.5k in the past 6 months.

An example of a Corvette Central transaction. For instance, Corvette Centra, as far as I know, is the only seller of a Muncie shifter alighment shim. The shim costs $1.95. If you call their 800 number, they will add something like a $13 shipping and handling fee just to order the shim. If you use their E-Mail "Shopping Cart" the shipping and handling fee is $6.95 (Hey! best of my memory). The shim weighs less than 1/2 ounce or less. Their ordering/shipping fee structure is expensive. Also, their catalog doesn't have an index page. To find stuff in the catalog, you have to look page by page. I buy a lot of Corvette stuff and I think Corvette Central really needs to get the message to me that they are the vendor for my future purchases.

My Corvette Central Catalog had a generic index, I have been able to find most things using it.

I only use the online cart so can't say much about different handling charges... nice thing for me being in Canada, is that Corvette Central stuff comes straight to my door without any extra costs at the border...

Agree. CC's catalog has an index at the front and I've had no problem finding parts. However, I discovered they do have additional items not noted in the catalog, ie. seat belt shoulder harness & seat hardware. I found this by searching their website using product description vs. part number. Finally, CC may (I've not verified this) charge more for shipping but everything arrives neatly packed and itemized. Overall, I'm happy with CC's product/services.
