What Should I Buy??
WHAT should I get?? My NEW LS1 engine has a clearance issue. It will not fit under the stock hood. 
1). L88 hood 2.5 inches higher
2). Cowl induction hood 2.5 inches higher
3). Cut the factory hood and add short scoop.

I say forget the over abundant L88's and cowl's and cut the hood. Then install a stinger scoop. I know, still not completely original, but still more unique and less common, and I think those stinger style scoops are MONEY!

cut the hood and fiberglass the L88 scoop on it.... less than $200 and you can be sure that the gaps at the fenders and the front are good.... there are too many hoods that just don't fit IMO....

WOW! L88 has lots of votes. I have not really seen to many L88 hoods on 75-79 Vettes. Cowl seems to follow stock body lines.
