Thanks. But I don't think chrome bumpers would look right on a Pace Car! J/K!

Actually, I wouldn't mind having a nice pace car too!

Default exhaust:

Sorry, no good pics. All I did was install headers, then cut & welded two sections from 90 deg. bends to "jog" down and out to where I wanted the mufflers. Another bend after the muffler (45 deg. if I remember correct) to the outside, short straight piece, chrome tip. Did this on each side. I used flowtech (afterburner) mufflers mainly for the small case size, I'm sure most round / bullet types would fit too.

I fabbed mounts similar to new cars by bending small pieces of solid rod & welding to the pipes. Used generic part store rubber oval mounts. Other end is bolted to threaded bungs I welded to crossmember & frame at rear. I can take each side off in about five minutes (after car is jacked up) because the only bolts are at the collector, the mounting points just pull out of the rubber ovals.

I love the sound, but I have scraped a few times on really bad potholes - no real damage though. This is just a "temporary" system for me though. When I get more free time I'm building one of the big blocks sitting in the garage and going to sidepipes.

Sorry for the long answer - hopefully it helped, if you need more specific info let me know & I'll try to help!

Default Emblems:

The emblems & taillights where done before I got the car. I've never done anything to the body since I bought it back in 1990. I've been thinking about putting the flags on the front and gas door though.

Thanks to all for the compliments.

onaqwst: If you want a quiet exhaust, then my setup isn't what you want. Right now I've got a 327 & it's definately loud when I put my foot in it. At idle, it's a pretty aggressive rumble. When I start the car in the garage it always sets off the alarm in my wifes car. If I drove it every day I would want something quieter. On the other hand, there are lots of Harleys around here that are much louder.
